Sun God
5" x 6.5" (folded)
The Tohono O'Odham nation of south central Arizona used this pattern, often referred to as Man in the Maze, in their basketry in the early 1900s. Its meaning varies from family to family, but generally represents their emergence story and the path of life. After our final look back, Sun God greets us and passes us to the next world.
